CIGNET was established in 2002 as the manufacturing holdings of Richard S. Crawford and Patrick T. Greene. Richard and Pat first became partners in 1995 with the acquisition on APTC Plastics, a supplier of convoluted tubing to various wire harness industries. Due to the successful sale of that company, Richard and Pat decided to create CIGNET as a holding company for their respective manufacturing businesses. Together, CIGNET has owned and operated 9 different companies and continues to seek investment and acquisition opportunities.
